I really enjoy playing all kinds of aspects of this game. I’m fully grown so I have all kinds of IRL responsibilities. I don’t have the time to grind all day all night,
I used to really enjoy doing some grind at weekends when I had time to play otherwise I would have an enjoyable lifeskill routine, I’d cook, fish do a spot of gathering and grind with friends when I could actively play.
Now all I’m doing is fishing afk all day every day until the weekends.
Thats when I grind a bit, I haven’t even bothered to try RBF yet
I miss the gameplay, the other reasons to play CDO, suppplying food buffs to people and earning decent money off it, I was starting an alchemy character to get into potions.
I’m basically seriously thinking about stopping till they fix this for us. My friends don’t even log in anymore, they were playing in a similar way albeit some grinded a bit more.
There is awhole load to enjoy about CDO with lifeskills breaking up the monotony of the grind which enable me to have CDO going with progress and some cash coming in via market trading buying low selling high making meals selling them all while I can do other stuff IRL or play other games here or there.
We need this economic gameplay back and there is not enough player population to allow for market prices to raise ‘naturally’. People are getting tired. I’m getting tired of waiting for a fix especially as the devs haven’t acknowledged any sort of response to this thread.
@shugi you may be alright with your billions but I always enjoyed making money with grinding and lifeskilling and I’d like to get that enjoyable gameplay back as it made the whole world feel much more alive rather than having to play to a meta of gathering or RBF (recently) just to keep making cash.
BDO was always about playing the game your way with lots of viable options to keep people entertained and money flowing in. Economy needs intervention and players who supply meals, potions should be acknowledged and rewarded with great prices for the effort they put in to get the bottleneck ingredients to keep other players going in their grind spots.
